This agreement applies to all birthday parties and private events booked at Explore Your Senses.
PAYMENT & DEPOSIT POLICY
• A security deposit is required to reserve the party date and time.
• The remaining balance must be paid by cash or credit/debit card prior to the party starting. Checks will not be accepted less than 2 weeks in advance.
• Parties not paid in full by the required deadline may be canceled without refund of the deposit.
CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING
• Parties may be rescheduled one (1) time only, subject to availability.
• Deposits are non-refundable unless cancelled or rescheduled 2 weeks prior the party’s start day & time.
• No refunds will be issued for no-shows, late arrivals, early departures, or unused time.
GUEST COUNT & AGE REQUIREMENTS
• Guest count must remain within the maximum allowed for the selected package.
• All participants must complete a liability waiver upon arrival.
• Additional guests beyond the agreed number may be denied entry or charged an additional fee. We have a maximum occupancy limit of 64 people including staff, caregivers, and participants.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
• Guests may arrive no more than 15 minutes early.
• All guests must exit promptly at the scheduled end time.
• Late departures may result in an additional fee.
FOOD, DRINKS & ALLERGIES
• Outside food and drinks are permitted unless otherwise stated. Outside food must be sertcved at room temperature. No crockpots, hot plates, sternos/ open flame burners, or refrigeration needed items.
• Parent/Guardian is responsible for informing guests of food allergies.
• Explore Your Senses is not responsible for allergic reactions.
ALCOHOL, DRUGS & PROHIBITED SUBSTANCES
• Alcohol, illegal drugs, marijuana, vaping products, smoking and any controlled or illicit substances are strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises of Explore Your Senses.
• Any guest found in possession of or under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances will be required to leave immediately.
• Explore Your Senses reserves the right to terminate the party without refund if this policy is violated.
• The Parent/Guardian is responsible for ensuring all guests comply with this policy.
SUPERVISION & SAFETY
• Children must be supervised at all times.
• Parents/Guardians are responsible for their child’s behavior and safety.
• Rough play, climbing on non-play structures, or misuse of equipment is not permitted.
• Explore Your Senses staff reserves the right to remove any child engaging in unsafe behavior.
Due to the nature of sensory play items and craft supplies there may be small objects that could pose a risk for choking. Children must be monitored closely at all times to ensure they are playing safely.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK & LIABILITY RELEASE
Participation in sensory play and physical activities involves inherent risks.
By booking a party, the Parent/Guardian assumes all risks and agrees to release and hold harmless Explore Your Senses, its owners, employees, and representatives from any injury, loss, or damage, except in cases of gross negligence.
DAMAGE & CLEANING
• Parents/Guardians are responsible for any intentional damage caused by their guests.
• Excessive mess or damage beyond normal use may result in additional cleaning or repair fees.
PHOTO & VIDEO CONSENT
Unless otherwise requested in writing prior to the event, permission is granted for non-identifying photos or videos taken during the party to be used for promotional purposes.
AGREEMENT
By completing a party booking, the Parent/Guardian confirms they have read, understand, and agree to all policies outlined above.
